This gadget might make a good toy for a child, but for anyone who needs a dependable organizer, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

I know, I know, what did I expect for $10??? Well, I expected it to fulfill the functions listed in the product description; sadly, it does not. At first, nothing worked. After replacing the $4 battery and using the reset button *several* times, I was finally able to get about 90% of the functions to work – which is still not everything the product description promised.

Also, it’s bulky, and has a cheap feel to it. The rubbery keys provide little tactile feedback to let you know if they’ve been properly pressed or not.

On the plus side, it is portable and it does have a multi-setting alarm (if you can get the AM/PM function to work, that is.) If all you’re doing is setting casual reminders, you have a lot of flexibility time-wise, and you don’t want to get a real PDA because you’d be out a lot of money if it gets damaged, this could be the perfect solution for you. Unfortunately, for me, it was not.
