A security guard, two professional card players, a kid fresh from school and a female book keeper.

He trained the group in just 14 days and then set them off to trade.

still trading successfully today.

How did they do it?

Dennis set out to teach them a simple method; they could have confidence in and this was the key to the experiment.

The method had to be simple and logical so the traders could apply strict money management rules with discipline to achieve long term success.

Of course, if a method is not applied with discipline the method is doomed to fail

There was no filler in the material he taught them just what they needed to know to achieve success – he taught them to work smart not hard and this can be seen in how quickly he did it just 14 days!

Trading is relatively simple about 95% of traders lose all their money – and they fail not because they cant learn currency trading, it’s a fact anyone can but they either have methods that don’t work but more often than not, its their mindset that sees them fail.

Dennis focused on keeping the method simple and easy to understand and gave them the mindset to succeed. He taught them to follow the method with discipline and run their profits and cut their losses.

The experiment was a success of course but the question you may ask yourself is:

Is it really that easy to learn forex trading?

Its not easy of course, nothing ever is if there are big profits to be made – but it’s not hard either –

ANYONE can do it as the experiment proved.

You simply need to get the right forex education and get the right mindset to succeed.

Anyone can learn trading – it’s a specifically learned skill not a natural born gift.

Most traders of course don’t succeed but this is down to them, no one else is to blame.

Trading is hard to master because its hard to get the right mindset but there is a big difference between something being hard and not being achievable at all.

You can succeed just as the turtles did if you accept:

Most traders learn the wrong type of forex trading information or are lazy and expect some mentor to give them success and they lose. Wining in trading comes from within and you need to take charge of your own destiny success rests on your shoulders.

Most of the systems and e-books sold on the net are junk not from traders at all but from marketing companies who never traded in their lives!

They make their money making claims that have no substantiation and the gullible novice traders fall for it.

There are good courses out there but there few and far between but if you can find a good one then it can be very valuable especially if the people teaching are traders themselves

Technical analysis and market analysis are the two main methods of market analysis.  There has and probably always been debate over which one is better, so let’s take a look at them briefly to see if either of these two are best suited for swing trading or trading in general.

Fundamental analysis is basically the concept that if a countries economy is strong; its currency will in theory be strong.  Investors, businesses, banks and governments gain faith in a currency if the economy for that currency is performing well (such as increased interest rates etc).  This then implies that the currency should strengthen and be the stronger currency in the currency pair.  If the economy suffers a down turn, the opposite is believed to happen.  The currency will weaken and the other currency in the currency pair should strengthen.

Technical analysis is the study of price movement.  Basically this means studying charts.  The most important thing to be learned from technical analysis is the importance of the trend.  A lot more goes into technical analysis than just this.  There are many different trading indicators and chart patterns that also fall into this category.  We will get into this a little later.

Which one is better?  Neither.  Fundamental analysis is important because you should be aware of upcoming news and any other major events that could have a big impact on the markets.  Do you really want to open a trade 2 minutes before US interest rate details are released?  Technical analysis is important because the trend is your friend and when swing trading you want to be trading with the trend and not against it (at least until you master your skills of trading and are aware of the risks and rewards involved in counter trend trading).

You can find many advices for trading forex provided by traders. Do they deliver profitable trades? It is hard to know till you try it out. It is crazy to see a lot of tips all over the place; this makes it challenging to select a perfect one.

The forex market is becoming more and more popular every day. More people are trading forex online to make extra money from home. Unfortunately, there are those that are jumping into the market without getting proper forex training and they are creating the illusion that this is a market that is every dangerous to put your money into when that is the farthest thing from the truth.

As with anything, there are plenty of forex systems in place and models that are already set up to be successful, but you have to be trained in them in order to use them in the right way. Another very popular forex strategy is the supports and resistance levels. This is about as easy as it gets to understand as the resistance level is the ceiling price of the currency that will bounce in back down and obviously the support position is the low point of the stock that will send it back up to its high.

To breakdown this simple forex system, you nearly need to look at a currency and establish the trend that has been seen over a certain period of time. When you see that the currency hits a certain point, say 0.9015, but it never goes over that, you can place your sell order at or around that point as you know it should never go over that point. You would do the same thing going the other way to the support position.

The Foreign Exchange uses currencies from a lot of countries to create a trading market where trillions are traded and exchanged day after day. This market is similar to the stock exchange, as people buy and sell, but the market and the overall results are much, much larger. The largest institutional players involved in the foreign exchange markets include Deutsche Bank, UBS, Citigroup, and others such as HSBC, Barclays, Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan Chase, and still others such as Goldman Sachs, ABN Amro, Morgan Stanley, and so on.

To enter the foreign exchange markets, you may contact any of these big investment banks or broker houses, but keep in mind how bad they have been burned in the 2008 financial crisis. Bear Sterns and Lehman Brothers went down the drain, losing billions in risky areas like subprime mortgage markets and – guess what – the forex market. All others must have been bailed out by their respective governments. So you can’t be absolutely sure that your hard-earned money is safe when you bet on the big players. Certainly, anybody can get involved in the forex market, but it does take time to find out what is hot, what is not, and just where you should place your money at any given time. Still, the smartest thing would be to invest first in your own education and learn the secrets of currency trading, technical analysis and market psychology.
